American Idol Ten will Sing, 9 Return

Tonight's theme is songs of the 21st century. Make you think what century we are in. When I hear songs of the 21st century I am thinking songs sung by hot robots.

Lisa Tucker-Because of You Kelly Clarkson. This song could kill her. She is no Kelly Clarkson.Pitchy off Key and yelling. 7 and 8 at best. 15..This may be the end of her tonight seeing that she is so not popular. Simon said it best said the song was too big for her and it was painful.. He was right. She is soooo hot though..

Kelly-Suds in the Bucket..Never heard of it. Bad in low register. Sounds like she is singing a children song..Ok I guess... 7 and 7 for a 14..Randy said it will be interesting..Song not a good choice. None of the judges are happy with the choice...Bad choice.

Ace-Drops of Jupiter...Good choice of song....Not doing a great with the song. He relies too much on looking good for the camera and posing. This is a good song not sung that great. 8 and 8 for a 16..Kind of sucked. He was in tune. Randy did not like it..Paula digs scars on guys and proves my point about the poser thing.. Should have called this song Drops of Broke Mountain..Simon said it was Kareoke.

So Ryan is sitting with Taylor and they cut to this kid who I guess is his fan even though the kid's parent did this crap too him probably to get him a contract with the Ford agency, but the kid's hair is spray painted silver like Taylor..Oh how cute. Disturbing thing about the whole thing is that the kid it just rocking back and forth like he has worms, or has to pee or is doing something in his seat that mom would slap him for.Looked like a young Joey Lawrence...Whoa

Taylor..Trouble??? So at first he just sings the word trouble. He is in tune. Have not idea what song it is but he is singing it well. Lots of repeats of the same line..It was ok not break out great but good. 9 and 8 for a 17....Randy did not like it but Paula did because if a dog started howling she would love it. Simon said it was good but except for the style. ...So far the best performance of the night.

Chris-What IF..By Creed...Of all the creed songs this is not the best one but at least it is a known song. He is singing it well and staying to who he is. 9 and 8 for a 17...People did not think it his best


Mandissa...Wanna Praise Her..gospel song...Did a little message at the start. Lower part not good but the upper register shows the strength of her voice. 9 and 8 for a 17..Was good..Randy did not like the choice. Paula said nothing..Simon did not get.

Katherine..The voice within...Ouch very pitchy at first and having a hard time to recover. She is behind in the music. Even though it is off by the middle you can see that she really has a great voice and she is probably the next american idol...have to give her an 18 9 and 9...Randy said she did not make it her own...Paula said blah...Simon said best tonight..See my score at being the best.

Bucky..Some Tug McGraw song...Dressed up like a cowboy...Just makes you believe that anyone can sing country songs. Not challenging... When Bucky sounds good and points his finger..The world is coming to an end. Better than the last few weeks.. 8 and 7 for a 15... Paula said his diction was wrong. Simon said it was ok..but if he had to pay he would have left by now..

Paris..Work it out...Not a great song by Beyonce..Should have done check it out but you can see how powerful her voice is. 10 for the voice and a 9 for the song...19 Her voice was strong the whole song.. Randy said it was fearless, best performace of the night. Paula said it standing up...Simon did not like it.

Elliot....I dont want to be...He forgot the words..He is doing too much hopping around and with his teeth and hair he looks like a monkey. To his singing it was ok but maybe a bit too much..9 and 9 for an 18....Randy said it was great and Paula said he was a funky white boy and simon said bad arrangement, great singing horrible singing.

American Idol the Final 11 Going to 10

Ryan came out to state that there was a lot of screaming last week when they announced the lowest three..Apparently only one person can win. Tonight's songs are from the 50's...Could be a pretty boring show. Randy did not say much at the opening..Paula said that everyone is going to do great. Simon was his old self when asked about press he did. Ryan asked him if it was too soon to be picking the final three..His response was..NO. Barry Manilow helped the gang get their sing on this week for the big 50's show. Poor Barry, Never found the right woman..

Mandisa-I don't Want to Hurt....Song is starting out slow. Her hair looks good. She does have a nice range and her voice is very strong..I am not too charged with the song but she gets a 9 and 9 for a 18....Did a strong job..Randy said something, I an not sure what Paula said...Something about taking her back.. She has set the mark for the night.

Bucky...Oh Boy by Buddy Holly...He was lat getting to the stage..Having a hard time in the low registers. Comparing his voice strength to Mandissa there is no comparison...7 and 7 for a 14...
Randy like his hair and mic throwing...hated the vocals..Paula said he had fun...no one saying much about his performance...Simon said it was a pointless kareoke performance...He called it so what..Simon is right

Paris-Fever...Old song for a young girl...Nice song for her voice..It allows her to showcase all of her levels of singing..As she closed out the song she hit a really nice volly of singing...9 and 10 for a 19...Randy said Dog you did great..Paula said she looks good and sang good...Simon said she had the porfect voice for that song.. As Ryan talks with her she is doing the dumb thing like Kerry Pickler.

Chris...I walk the line by Johnny Cash...Litle pitch in the one spot low, the next octave second verse was his key and it was great...third stance and octave a little higher and it sounds solid and a much different version...Pitchy during the ending but he took the song and made it sound like a LIVE song. Kristine....Come Rain or Come Shine-Ella Fitzgerald....She looks great and the song she picked is sexy...She sings so perfectly in tone and volume....9 and 10 for a 19...She also make you feel like you could take her home and bang the hell out of her...Randy said WOW...Paula started laughing in the middle of it..Simon said that tonight she turned into a star....Simon said he loved it.

Taylor is up next but they cut to him before going to break and they have himmugging for the camera and it just looks retarded. Oh, and GAY.

Taylor... Not Fade Away-Buddy Holly....Started off a little hokie..The guy is having a fun time..Not a very challening song and it just says the same things over and over and too many breaks in between. Too much running around...Just not a great song. 8 and8 for a 16...Randy said what I said above..Paula said bla bla bla...Simon said this was a complete mess. At the end Paula was cackling at herself when she made a joke about Simon and a medical alert bracelet..

Lisa...Why Do Fools Fall in Love...Too High School fair night...Girls that have been plays and productions would pick this song..Too much music behind her and it is too busy.. Kelly...Walking After Midnight....Good song for her voice. Too much rougue on her face. Too much walking in the song like Taylor. Lost a little tone in her voice towards the end but over all really good..8 and 9 for a 17...Paula and Randy did not say much...Simon said it was sexy and ballsy.

Ace....In the Still of the Night...Started off pitchy and like a wedding song..His hand gestures cannot correct the start of the song...Middle sounded a bit better but still like a cheap wedding band..Ending was bad......then he did his falsetto which was ok. 8 and 8 for a 16..Randy loved it. Paula loved it..Total shocker, and Simon said it was OK.

American Idol Final 12 Vote Off

After competing last night, the 12 are on hand to see who goes home first. If it is anyone other than Kevin, they should change the format of the show. Last night was the tribute to Stevie and it seemed like all people wanted to do around him besides butcher his song was to cry in front of him. Thank God he cannot see.

They come back in with a gay Ford add with all the Idols singing. Good song bad version. They come back to Stevie. People go nuts chearing for him. Where were they all the years he had to sleep in non white hotels.. That said I live the old Stevie because he is doing a song right now that sucks and for all the hits he had there was a lot more bad songs. Some last night sang those songs. Wow look at that, the cast of the Loop another Fox show.

Ace, Kevin, One in the bottom three, and it is Ace, Kevin is safe...Kevin is safe...In any other situation this kid would have had his ass kicked a thousand times to Sunday....What is this fascination in voting the worst singer through..It is not that funny..Ace is in the bottom three

Back from break..Paris is safe....Kelly is also safe, Taylor is safe, Chris is safe...Down to the bottom row...Melissa and Elliot....Melissa is in the bottom three....Elliot is safe..Mandissa is safe, Katherine is safe...Down to Lisa and Bucky....Wow..Bucky is safe and Lisa is not....I do not agree with the voters tonight... Ace is safe which brings us down to Lisa and Melissa...Lisa is safe and Melissa goes home which she did not have that much longer but she should have out last freak boy Kevin.

The Final 12 First Night All Together

Tonight is the first night on AI that we are down to one show with the final 12. Tonight they will be singing the songs of Stevie Wonder. Ryan is out there introducing the stage, America, and the Judges. A retrospect of the 12 that made it to the finals. Right now only one person, Kevin, does not deserve to be there. Ace, Kelly, Elliot, Mandisa, Bucky, Melissa, Lisa, Kevin, Katherine, Taylor, Paris, and Chris. And our three judges are in the house. The banter begins. Paula thinks this is the best final 12. Randy and his dogs. Simon says it either makes you or breaks you. Next we go to a retro of Stevie and his songs. Stevie surprised the kids with a sing along. Here we go.

Ace- Do I Do. Ace started out screaming his song. Not doing a bad job. Too much walking around and there is not much focus on the song. The band is drowning out his voice. Does not own the song but not killing it either. Give him and 8 sing and 7 song.....15.. Randy said he did not like it..Paula said it was the greatest. Simon said it was a bit manic.

Kelly-Blame It On The Sun.... Never heard of this song...Her hair looks really looks good down and curled a bit. The song is a bit too slow for the show. Something happened in the middle, and I think she forgot the song but did not do a bad job for not knowing it. 8 and 6....14..Randy said it was not great...Paula actually made a comment..Simon said it was horrible. Said it was safe and her worst performance. I did not think it was all too bad. Ryan and her sat down and did a Allen and Burns routine.

Elliot-Knocks Me Off My Feet....He already sang one song to perfection. Singing a little aead of the music at the start. But he has the same tone as Stevie.. Pitchy in the middle. Too slow and the song itself is all over the place. But he did a solid job. 9 and 8 for a 17. Randy did not think it was great. Paula talked in broken words and made no sense. Simon said best so far.

The first three picked shitty songs. Which means that Kevin is going to sing and butcher one of Stevie's better songs.

Mandissa-Don't you Worry About a Thing... Lower register not that great. I am not that familiar with the song but it sounded flat. The higher register was much better but the song was just kind of nothing... I am not sure what to score her. Her voice is good but not a great choice which ...I do not know. Sing 8.5 and song 8 for about a 16...The judges thought she did a great job..

Bucky-superstition...This ought to be a freak show... Compared to Mandissa's voice and Elliot he comes off sounding weaker in volume. Either that or he is mic'd wrog. Not that great not bad. 7 and 8 for a 15....Randy and Paula liked it. There person that did his hair did his the same as Kelly..Simon made a comment to that nature. They thought he did great.

Melissa-Lately..Another song I do not know.. Ouch started off slow and off key. Nerves are making her voice shaky...At one point she appears aloof in the song...This song is not getting off the group. Sounds like the last song at a good wedding..7 and 7 for a 14...Randy said she has pipes...Paula said she is pretty and Paula is messing up her words. Simon said he liked it. Wow I am way off with the judges tonight. The better singers they hate and the worse they like......

Lisa T-Signed Sealed Delivered.....Bad choice..She does look hot...Doing a pretty good job but the song is a nothing song except for the chorus. I really hate this song....Not that she is doing a bad job..8 and 7 for 15...Randy said ok end was good, Paula said something in broken english. Simon said this was one of the best of the night. Lisa looks a bit like Aliyah.

Kevin-Part Tme Lovers The singer from hell....Two little girls came up to hug him in the most creepiest moment in idol. I cant type since it was so bad....Could not hear him over the band in the low registers. Pitchy in the high..His dance was a freak strut. Now I know why these kids were beaten in school.. 6 and 6 for a 12...Randy laughed and said it was interesting..Paula said something..Simon said this is the point in the show where Stevie turns down the sound... But Kevin got smart with Simon and the place went crazy..As you look at Kevin not only did they use the normal makeup but it looks like they put lipstick on him..

Katherine-Until You Come Back to Me....Wow she looks good and she sounds good from the start...She took the middle an octave higher than the original..She has a soul about her singing...Best performance of the night so far. 9 and10 for a 19...Randy said she is back which I never understand...Paula said the same crap. Simon said she is good..He said that she reminds him of Kelly at this point in the stage. He is right... She is playing the dumb thing like Kelly. Most of them are doing it this year except for Kevin the Freak Boy.

Taylor-Living for the City...Nice choice of song...Not like Stevie but still infectious....Guy makes you smile when he sings cause he sings with more passion than any other American Idol. He was in tune and it sounded great 9 and 10 for an 19...Randy and Paula did not say too much..Simon said he was like any dad that ever got drunk at a wedding. Too funny... The guy does move you..I love this dude..

Paris-All I DO....Not sure what song it is but her voice is strong and it shows how great her voice is..I just wish it was a better song. Pitchy towards the end but 9 and 9 for an 18...Randy said the same thing, Paula said something in broken english.. Simon said it was brilliant and like a performing little doll......Odd the show cut out for a bit....

Chris D-Higher Ground.....He has done it again...Right choice of song for his voice...Sung like the chile peps....voice good and tune good 10 and 9 for a 19....Randy said something and Paula said she never worries for him..Simon said thank God for Chris...Good song choice and it stands up in the real world.....


Kevin has to go home tomorrow night. Anyone else and it is a crime.

American Idol 8 Dudes Left

Up first is Geideon and his painiting and over speaking each word..Art is art dude. Do not explain it. He is singing if a man loves a woman. Sounds pretty good and in tune the whole song..8 and 9 for choice giving him a 17. Randy said nothing and Paula said bla bla bla. Simon said good and it is funny talking to him and he talks like Forest Gump..I'm not a smart man Ginny, but I know what love is.

Up next is Chris. The front runner in the male grouping. Singing Seether. Good choice.Such a soul voice with out pomp and crap. 9 and 9 for an 18. He is this guy to beat at this time. Paula said he is alread a star bla bla..Simon was not impressed. Said it was boring.

Next up is Kevin...Oh my God this kids has to go....Starry Starry night... I just do not understand this guy. Did a nice job but just not something... 7 and 8 for a 15. Randy and Paula said nothing and Simon said it was like watching puppies..

Creep factor alert. Before they go to break they show Bucky giving the thumbs up to America. People are right to hate us.

Bucky Covington..Oh my God there is a Rocky too...I have no idea what this song is. Sing Bucky Sing. Not a hard song to sing. Just goes to show that anyone can sing country music. 7 and 8 for 15...Just nothing... Paula and Randy said nothing. Simon said it was ok. One thing we have learned is that Buck and Rocky go to the same dentist. Dr Summer....Summer are this way and summer that way. Will is up next. Here is another guy that makes no sense. How sweet it is?? How gay it is to be hearing this. Like fonzie singing a love song to Pinky Tuskadero. 7 and 6 for a 13. Randy said nothing. Said it was bad. Paula said she loved it. Simon said that Paula must have been starved for entertainment as a child. Said it was so not above average.

Taylor Hicks is up next. Singing taking it to the streets...This the perfect song for him. I love this guy, He so belongs in this more than the last three. 9 and 9 for an 18. This guy makes you laugh. Taylors friend looks like his mother. What part of the swamp did they come from. Paula said she is blown away. Simon said he stood out and best performance so far. Look at my score..Who is in line???ME.

Elliot is next. Has not hearing in his right ear. Singing Bryan Adams... Too slow for me but did an ok job..He seems over powered by the song. Not his best. But it was good. 8 and 8 for a 16. Simon said it was a cop out. Guy is a good singer.

Last one up is Ace. Ace is singing a M. Jackson song. Butterfly...Hard song to sing. song done by Floetry. Wow you have to give him balls for singing in the key he did. I think you have to give the kid credit. 9 and 9 for balls and an 18. Kid can pick strange songs.

Final four guys should be Elliot, Taylor, Chris, and Ace. Will and Kevin must go tonight if there is any justice.

American Idol-And Then There Were 8

Tonight marks the third round of elimination for the girls of AI. So far we have lost Becky, Brenna,Heather, and Stevie. Two of the girls will be gone by Thursday leaving us with the final 12 contestents.

Up first is Paris Bennett. Singing Gloria Estefan... Cut to Brandy Moesha in the audience. Not that great of song to sing. She does show that she has a strong voice..I give her about a 8 and 8 for a 16. Simon said she will make it through since People like her.

Next up is Lisa. She is smoking. She is singing Tiffany. Hair permed straight tonight. She looks good. Kind of boring song. The song shows she can sing in the low and hig registers. 9 sing and 8 song. 17.

The first two are lower this week compared to the last few weeks but they are still two of the better singers in the competition.

Melissa is up singing What ABout Love..Heart.. Not too bad. Little pitchy in parts and sometimes too screamy..Her voice not as strong as the other two. 7 and 7 for a 14. Simon said she booked her ticket home because her last note was bad..Said it was like she was screaming it.

One thing to point out is that someone has a stupid whistle in the crowd and they keep blowing it. Sounds like they have a hair in their nose. I hope security finds them and kills them.

Next up is Kinnick and she is singing Alicia Keyes... Started off bad. She is over singing..I think this girl can sing but it was off tonight and that might seal her fate. 6 and 7 for a 13

Katharine McPhee..Singing Aretha Freedom. She has a good voice and she sings it pretty easy. She easily has the best performance of the night...9.5 and 9 for 18.5.. She also gets a 10 for the rack. Hubba Hubba Simon said it was effortless. Look at my comments above. She is a pretty girl.

Aila singing Unwritten by Natasha Beddingfield... Starting slow. She is behind the Song. This song is too big for her. Does not have the range for the song. Give it about a 7 and 7 for a 14. Randy said it was ok and Paula said Bla and you are bla and bla bla....Simon thought she did a good job but not fantastic. She does not have any soul in her though..The chic towers over Seacrest..

Mandisa singing Chaka Khan Im every woman. First have of the song her voice was hidden by the backup singers. Second half of the song she it really taking it home.. Did a great job...9 and 10 for sing song she has won for the night. 19 Song just as good as the original...Outfit was crap.


Last up for the night is cute and stupid Kellie Pickler. Tonight she will probably tell us something like she has never seen a movie cause he daddy was in jail and her momma was a webbed foot prostitute named Chloe. She is going to sing Walk across the fire...Not bad but she is trying to out do Mandissa and it is too yelly. 8 and 8 for a 16...

78th Annual Academy Award

The curtain comes up tonight on Oscar's big night. The opening is a montage of academy award winning actors and others on a street. Dead and alive and the camera pulls back and it is Oscar city.

The opening is all the past hosts saying no they do not want to host. Here comes John to do his monologue. The routine is starting out a little slow. They warmed up to him towards the end but it really did not get going too much. At one point he was begging for laughs. He went to a short film that was ok.

First up to present is Nicole Kidman. Blond and in white. Best supporting actor...George Clooney for Syriana...Matt Dillion for crash....Paul Giamatti for Cinderella Man....Jake Gillinhall for Broke Back Mt....William Hurt for History of Violence....Winner is....George Clooney wins for Syrianna..Could the upset be in. Got up and said I guess I am not winning for director..Other than that the speech was forgetful.

Back from break and John told a joke about getting laid and that did not go over big. Ben Stiller comes out for best visual effects. King Kong won. Reese Whitherspoon up to present best animated feature. Moving Castle, Tim Burton for Corpse Bride, Wallace and Grommit...winner is Wallace and Grommitt...Naomi Watts introducing Dolly Parton whi is trapped in time. She has not age in years.She is singing her oscar nominated song for Transamerica..

Next to present are Luke and Owen Wilson. Live Action Short. Back and it iWill Farrell and the 40 yr old virgin. They have bad makeup on and they are going to present the Oscar for makeup.. Narnia, Cinderella Man, Star Wars..Winner is Narnia.
