79th 2007 Oscars
Okay, half hour to the oscars. Jennifer Hudson looked great. Alan Arken up with Ryan and he is nasty. Beyonce looks great..Gwinneth looks lame in a mermade dress.. Showing Eddie with a little chippy...Not sure who she is. Is he gay?? Who is the beard. Lets say hi to Apple for the Paltrows... With Beyonce...She looks great but when she speaks she sounds dumb as a stone and she should not E is that they have Beyonce and then they put it in a small box to show people arriving that are not as huge as her...Cate Blanchet next...She looks like she is 80..Not sure why they try to look so old, like it was 1955..Stop it..It is 2007. Stephanie ..Not sure what song but she is singing it well..Perfect pitch and hitting the all the right chords...The girl hit it right off the bat....9...Randy said it was a huge differences between the guys and girls..Paula said it was great..Simon said it was the best so far in the competition and Simon said it looks like she wants to win

American Idol
Well we are down to the last 12 guys and girls and tonight it is the guys chance to show the world how they can sing. We are know 10 minutes into the show and it has mostly been commericals.
First Up:
Rudy Cardenas...Singing Free Ride.. Seems comfortable but not a great voice.. Not strong Simon is going to say it is blah or kareoke... Shouting by the end... give him a 6..Dancing is horrible. Randy said it was corny....Paula said it was fantastic..Simon said he does not have a distinct voice and it was something not to remember.
Brandon Rogers.....Singing a Michael Jackson song..But singing it very Jazzy at first and then it picked up..He has a very smokey voice..Good control seemed a nervous in some parts..give him an 8...Randy said not your best, Paula said you were great..Simon said you are a good singer but it was a safe and predictable song..
Sundance Head.... Singing Knights in White Satin..Song to slit your wrists to. Starting off a littly pitchy...very pitchy....in some parts..He is very flat in parts of the songs and it does not resonate... 7...Randy said it was pitchy...Paula said you picked the wrong song...Simon said he was like a dad at a wedding. He said it was flat and he did not like him tonight...
Paul Kim.... Singing Careless Whispers...Wow this is bad..Lower register was bad..Higher was a little better..He is behind in the song and then he went to hit the high part and missed it..He is going home...5....Randy said pitchy and the falsetto did not work..Paula said he oversang it and pitchy...Simon said put your shoes on.. said it was ordinary..so far for me he was the worst of the night.
Chris Richardson.... Singing I dont wanna be..More up tempo than the other songs.. Little off at first and off at the first bridge and hook.. The energy is there but the singing is off..from time to time..Give him a 7...Randy said he feels like the show just started...was ok to him..Paula said did a great job..Made it seem like a new song.. Simon said his voice sounded very small and said it was a bad vocal.
Nick Pedro...Singing Richard Marx..Started off flat ...Seemed to calm down in the middle...flat on the second verse..A very safe song , hit the high part ok...It was a 6.5....Randy said are you nervous..It was pitchy, Paula said it fell flat..Simon said it was not that bad and said you will be back next week.....
Blake Lewis....Singing Keane Song..Nice choice...Started off off, but sounding better now...hit a spot in the middle that he either burped or sucked it in..Higher part towards the end threw him off..Just not a super strong.... 7.5..... Randy, Puala, and Simon all like the performance...

49th Grammy Awards
Now let me start off this entry by saying I am not gay. I do love the Grammys along with a couple of other award shows. We are one hour to curtain and I am watching E with Ryan and he is doing a pretty good job.
Dixie chix with Ryan and they won a grammy already. Ryan asked them if there has been many regrets about statements and they said no. Like those girls for their committment. They will not say they are sorry for dissing the fucker Bush..The man that has broken everything he has touched including this country..
Paul Wall interview was fantastic. Back with Ryan and the RHC Peppers. Flee dressed as a brit and not being funny with his comments. Freak. They started shooting silly strig. Now they are hopping up and down.. Ryan with a funny joke about strumming his six string as they were cleaning his crotch..
Back at 948... Reba to present to honor Bob Wills and Don Hennley...Carrie Underwood....not a great song but she did it well..Rascal Flats doing hotel CA..Good but not great. Now Carry is singing Desparado...Not bad...This is going on way too long..It is 12 minutes now and going on

Taking a lower registger on the Roxy part showing he cant do it anymore. They should have done this acoustic and now they are bringing in sound augmentation. Copeland sounds good on the drums. Kind of lackluster..More hype than content. Got standing O but not deserved.. Remember this is their retirement tour to make money for their kids.

Have Not Posted In A While
I have not posted in a bit and I do not know why. Busy, not busy, bored and not bored. There is no excuse. A friend had her dog die at only 9 years old. Another friend went to India, Cambodia, and a few other countries and came back and is still bored with her life. I warned her against going to India. She is a funny little creature. Says she only feels alive when in another country. Yet when in India she was groped by a young boy in front of the Taj Mahal. She said she bought me some incense but she threw it out because it smelled. Did not have the heart to tell her that it is supposed to smell but my bet is that she gave it to the boy that groped her. She travels on every holiday. I think she liked the boy who groped her.
Other than that what else is new. I ripped the mirrors off my car in my parking spot, in the same week that I had to replace the breaks and tires. My dog celebrated her 1st year with me. Getting better but not great. American Idol started again and that is about it.
