Ryan commented that there was an issue with the lighting and that is the reason why Simon was in a different position.

Matt G-Rod..Talking about pinching himself...Singing Viva la Vida Cold Play... Too much vibrato at first and trying to look like Justin T.. Its either vibrato or nerves and it is not that hard of a song to sing and they said pick good songs they have. At least people know them but they should have told them to sing good..He hit one point in the song where he went up a few octaves and it sounded like Tiny Tim yelling at my cat whose paw was caught in a vice...The song is flat and he is making faces like someone is putting in a catheter.. Season 8 First Week Vote Off
Oh God, for every time I look forward to watching the show, I forget that you have to sit thru all the commercials that they do and the crappy up with people singing routines...
Anyway..Casey...who boy what a rack..Not going thru...Steve Fowler..Not going thru...Knew them both would not make it...Alexis..I said she will go thru and the verdict is.....Made it into the top 12.. Please review my comments from last night..I'm right again...OMG they cut to her father who is a crying hippie..A boo hooing Benny Franklin...I hate the hat the hair with the fake Halloween pink color in ...ooh she is such a rebel..Rebel mom with a baby....She needs to get some sun...
Next up Jackie No Tone and Ricky Bobby...If anyone goes it should be Ricky Bobby...Ricky is not thru..Jackie is.....she is not either..I was right about that.. So that means that Anoop is thru and they bring him up and Mike..Anoop should be thru and Mike should be going home...Mike is now being asked to describe what he is going thru and he says he is nervous...Going thru is Mike...Wow America got that wrong....Anoop deserves it more than Mike...America is really kind of dumb...For god sake he is wearing a members only jacket on stage..You know its hot on the stage..he is singing his victory song and it is worse than what he did not last night...HE IS NOT EVEN SINGING....I guess I am an AI Purist

Not blown away by the song and eh..New Girl said you can work the stage..Not the best vocals but you worked it..Paula said you had me dancing..I love you and remember you the most..Perfect is boring and you are a performer..Simon said you have a good voice but played the clown..Gimmicky and do not think you did yourself any favors...Simon said he does not like the trousers..Now we are with her parents which is odd and very uncomfortable...She should be going home..
Rickie Bratty....Is telling the audience that making chicken fingers was not for him anymore..O M Fing God...Chickens don't have fingers..They have talons...Some song by Leon Russell...Nice song choice and he sounds really good...Nice choice for his voice..He is puffing too much in the mic..Hit the high notes but did not roll it but overall a very very good job.. 8..he is the guy to beat..He lacks richness in his voice but nice tone...Randy said this is what I'm talking about this is the start right here..But he said Jackie as well..Randy which is the start..Dude that great...Nice tone.. Mike Sarver...I don't wanna be...Good song choice..starting off slow...He is not hitting like he should..Sounds like he is talking it more than singing it..The register is low and he is having trouble with that but with the higher is ok..Good job but not blowing anyone out...7.5...Randy said you can sing, but it was pitchy..Kara said you have more in you and you are like able..Not the best..Paula said you did a real good job..Simon said it was tricky..We put you here because we like you but it was not great...But he hopes they give him a shot.. Erin Brokovich....Natural Woman...Aretha again..You have to bring it...Slow part good...In tune nice pitch... Simon said if I'm being honest you would be the best hotel singer and her voice is not that good for that song..I think they are wrong....I thought it sounded really good...
Steve Fowler...I like this guy..Rock with you..MJ..I don't know...soulful but a little flat and a little behind the song.. Tatiyanna..The most annoying fuck on AI...Saving all My Love by Whitney..She is crying again..and laughing...Starts off flat and she is behind in the song..Flat...and slow..Middle part is not bad but pitchy in some parts but hits the high parts..screechy at the end...I do not know with this one..I want to say about an 8...Standing O for what..Randy said there were some moments where I was like YO you can sing..Kara you are like a roller coaster and you are reserved and there were moments where do you fit in this industry..are you an artist or a character..Paula said you are the most talked about but it was pitchy and I don't know who you are....Simon said you are a drama queen..Never met anyone except Paula who wants fame....You are desperate to be famous.. Last to sing is Danny Gokey..Hero by Mariah...I ain't mad at him but ..... Very soulful voice....Piano is way too loud.... Has a lot of control over his voice and he is really doing a nice job with the song... Best make singer of the night..... 9...Raspy male version..Did it well..Best performance of the night..Randy said redeemer..Kara said it was great..Paula said sold out arena.. Simon said it was good..but not fantastic, not buying the hype right now...
