Cyrstal....CCR..Long as I can C light...Problems is that no one really knows this song so you cannot benchmark it but she is doing a good job..sung well and very county..Nice job...9...We will use her as our benchmark..Randy said you are true and you do not try to be anyone else...Hot...Ellen said that is pure talent nothing forced or pushed..God I want to scream when she says that...Kara said you are American rock..You are focused and hit a new level..Simon said you chose a great song and I underestimated since last week..vocal was incredible...You are a serious artist...
Haeley...Singing Miely...Low register sketchy...Pitchy in parts....7...Randy said it did not work, no connection to the song...Ellen said it was like you memorized the song but it did not suit you...Kara said you are open and real you are a good performer of getting your voice stronger...Simon said it was a mess...
Lacey....God her intro was sooo boring....Six Pence Kiss me...Starting it off bad...not bad not good just ok..She just does not have that strong of a voice... 7...Randy said it would have worked but you did nothing special...Ellen said it was adorable..Kara said we felt like we lost you and this song brought it back but you have to step it up....Simon... it was a little better from last week but you look like you are taking part but not looking to win..
Katie....Put Your Records On...What is up with the walk in? Big song for her to sing and she is getting lost in the song..It falls short of the original by a long mile...Its not bad but it not fantastic so it just sounds blah...7....Randy said there were bright moments but the first part was pitchy...Ellen said you have a great voice and she said that three times...Kara said I am frustrated but you need to do your own thing, you need more impact...Simon said you made an attempt but you are failing...not a winning performance..
Didi...She is 23..She looks old for 23...Lean on Me....flat at the start but picks up.. She has a distinctive voice and it is pretty good ...8...Randy said he would not have chosen that song...Ellen once again said she loves her and her voice and you are here and you are present with energy and then she said it was not a great song choice...Kara said not good...You are not consistent...and it was all over the place..Simon said it was all over the place..He was interrupted by a girl in the audience but did not go off on them..said it was a wasted song..He made her cry...
Michelle... Arms Wide Open..Creed...Interesting... She took a pretty powerful song and weakened it...Made it sound like it was from an 80's movie....got swallowed in the song and then time stood still....she screamed wide open at the end....7...Randy said pitch problems..You look hot...but did not do enough with the song...fell flat..Ellen said you look great and you changed and then repeated it and it almost worked and then repeated herself....Kara said my fave performance of yours ever..Simon agreed with Kara said the first part was better than the second..
Lilly....A Change is Gonna Come..Big Song by Sam....The guitar is not mic'd correctly.....Odd but not a bad version....I like it...9...different...Randy said you are unique and you did a good job...fave of the night....Ellen said you have it..I think she is looking for a threesome....Kara said you had your first moment...Simon said this makes the point, thought it was good but not crazy great...
Caitlyn....Coldplay....Oh God, started off flat and way too slow...she is dragging each chord out but still not too bad..if you are pushing out a baby or an egg..I'm confused because she sounds good but it just drags...8...Randy said he liked it but it was way slow...Ellen said she liked that she played guitar,,,then realized she did not but said it was an indication because it was too slow...Kara said she loves her and does not love her....Simon said it was a smart choice of song but you look corny when you perform but much better than last week...
Paige....I like her...Walkaway by Kelly Clarkson...As good as Kelly herself... This chick has the best voice in this show this season..This is the season 9 American Idol...I think we will prove to have a much bigger range than Kelly...10...Randy said he liked it but not over the top...not the best choice....He is on crack..Ellen....said she loved it and changed it with energy and fun and have fun and your moment for fun....Kara said its an angry song and she smiled and she liked it..Simon said I agree with Randy that she has not chosen the right song...I agree with Ellen
Siobhan...Think by Aretha....Big song, but she is hitting it hard..One of the best performances of the night...10...she brought it...Randy said it was bold and fearless and it was dope....Ellen said I loved it and it was great..Kara said I cant get over that night..Simon said you are so strange as a compliment...parts of the song that was terrible but the note was incredible...Dark horse...
