Tonight we have the Golden Globes. Many call it the dry run for the Oscars. I call it another opportunity to see hot chics wearing cool outfits acting like they are the shit although everything they say is vapid. It is mindless TV at its best. The only thing worse than me watching and blogging are the poor fools that hang in line for days to see the celebs walk in live. My favorite part is the red carpet coverage. The problem is trying to find the best coverage. Tonight I will be flipping between E and WNBC. E is usually the most real. I love how sometimes they leave one guest mid interview to go to an A celeb. Make you really feel like a B grade celeb.. E has a gay guy Issac, never heard of him but he seems funny and NCB has the blonde chick I forget her name from the insider or something and the very lovely Sean Robinson..She is hot. She is with Gwinnith Paltrow who is pregnant. They cut to Gina Davis who is nominated and she should be happy since the show sucks. Somehow people think the show is good. Back to E they are asking better questions than NBC. NBC how is the family?? E..what did you eat this morning. NBC has more commerical. I may have to stay with E. E also has Ryan and some other chic. Issac with Felicity and William H Macy. She is nominated twice and he told her she should dress like a man for movie. He is asking questions about her limo..They came in a towncar.. No one wants to spend gas anymore. I see Chris Rock coming in and Jessica Alba. Back to NBC Chris Rock is on and they sometimes have a way of making someone that funny not funny.. Sean is with George Clooney. Nothing out of the ordinary. Sean has body make up on and it makes her look pale as it rides up her face. Back on E Issac with Jessica... Jessica says that no one will see her Nana I guess refering to her vagina but maybe she should let everyone see it since she cannot act for a dime. Marcia Cross just jumped into her shot and told a very uncomfortable story about her husband seeing Jessica on the beach and how she was wet and he blocked his view.. I thought Marcia was a Lesbo??? Issac is good he has a way of taking a shot at them and then following up with how nice their make up is... Issac with Gwynith... She made the ultimate faux pas...she did not know how to pronounce the dress make name... Issac helped her out. Apple is at home with Dad..The bun in the oven must be Peaches. Issac with Sarah Jessica and her husband.. Matt. Who is gayer, Issac or Matt B. Issac made a joke about Matt going to see broke back MT....It is sooo funny cause Issac is making Ryan Secrist look straight. I have to say I like Issac. I am going back and forth but NBC is mostly commercials with waterdowned interviews.
Thirty mins to the show and the A celebs start coming in now. Issac with Queen LaTiffa. Funny interview. She tells us that she would love to date George Clooney and nothing to shake up Hwood with an interracial grouping. She is wearing a thong to hide lines. We are with Reese wearing vintage Channel. Polished everything they ask her is lovely and about her kids. She is talking up the marriage even though it is rumored to be on the rocks. She is happy to be here and meeting everyone and they are lovely and the world is good and lovely and the war in Iraq is lovely.. They bailed in the middle for Gina Davis with Issac.. Good call cause Reese was about to talk about the lovely shit she takes. Gina is an idiot so they bailed for Scarlett Johansen. Her hair is down for the first time and she looks really good. Issac just felt her up after the underwear question. Then he announced he felt her boob. Julianna is with the chic from lost Evangallile lilly. She is wearing green which is her color. She is doing the nice interview again. Issac with Charlizze . She looks really good. He is going through her purse. She is heading to the Warner Bros Party. Issac is right since her hair is not pulled up and just left natural it looks really good. Mariah arrived and her hair is up, looks bad.
I always hate when women put their hair up. It really takes away from whatever beauty they were given. Enought said.
Ten minutes to curtain. Issace with Hillary. She does lok good and freshly on the market. He asked her what she was working on and she is talking about her new movie but she should have said on her divorce..Issac threw a quote in about her being single but it did not go well. Issac with Mariah. Of course there are many split screens and there is Rosario Dawson who looks fantastic. Posing for pics. Back to last commercial and we are into the show in 5 minutes.
Back with the rap up but cable has done there test of the emergency broadcast system which cut out their voices. Funny how on 9-11 never heard from those dude about where to go and what to do..We all just watched tv. Ironic.
