American Idol...5 Left

Well it is Neil Diamond nite on AI and I am not sure what is going to happen..The top 5 get to sing two songs tonight in one hour..Maybe they will spare us the 5 billion product placements and just make it about the music...

Jason Castro..Forever In Blue Jeans....Low register is off ..He is too nasal..hard song for him to sing since the Neil version is deep and rich..Lost in the middle and the whole thing is bad..He cannot find the right key and register...6..Bad man.... Second Song....Sept Morn..Out of the gate, its off key...He is still having a hard time finding the key, and even at the chorus it is off...He forgot the words a little...I do not even know the song he is singing....6..Bad..overall 12 for the night out of 20...Randy said dude it was just ok..Paula who must have heard him sing three times now..Simon said that this is not the Jason we put in the game and sorry...

David Cook....Playing the electric guitar and playing rock band with his cheese dick AC / DC patches..just corny and fake and poser..song sucked and he sucked...6.... Second Song... All I really Need is You...The way he sings it makes it feel like a bad 60's movie song....better than the first 7....13 overall...Randy said he is a fan and you rocked the house..Come on..Paula said she is sooo proud and pulled it off...Simon said first was ok, second brilliant...I do not see it...Nice flock of seagull hair style...

Brooke...I'm a believer??? ouch this is really bad...No power in her voice, tone is good, at the start she is behind....its all over the place just like the other two....thank god they are not saying things after each song..It lacked energy it lacked everything....6... David Archuletta.....Giving a goofy laugh like he does....Neil is old....Sweet Caroline......At least its more alive than the others..The arrangement sucks....Has the best sound of the night but is getting lost between chords as the others have...This song sucks and the movies that use it should be banned...7.... Second Song America...God such a shitty song. He is really hurting himself..Not singing it bad just something about him and the performance....8...Randy said it was great..Paula said it was the best...Simon said it was a smart choice of songs, it ticked the boxes...



Seyesha Mercado...This girl is going to do the best tonight and will be voted off tomorrow...She is the Jen Hudson of the season. Hair relaxed and sitting...Good song choice for her..This is the best performance of the night so far...This could be used in a Disney movie....9... Second Song..Thank the Lord....Trying to do a gospel song here..Singing blues and in the middle really hit a good spot..They are going to say bad choice but I say an 8...Randy said you are in the zone, Paula said something about sides and Minny Riperton..Simon said it is a strange show..Said that she will be in trouble tonight...I really feel bad for this girl

After she is done all the idols came out for advice..

Randy said Jason was ok, David very good. Brooke better last week, David A in the zone, and Seyesha in the zone, not great but very good..

Paula started giving advice on Jason's two songs and Randy pointed out she only sang one..Paula said OMG I thought you sang twice...Simon butted in..and said they all sucked in various ways...He said thank god they have a second song...forgettable, just above avg,nightmare, amateur, and old fashioned...

Over all, the show was really bad tonight..I really want this one to be over..No really fantastic singers....Where in the world is Taylor Hicks...
