For me this is the best award show ever. Some years great others not so. Tonight's opening on the record carpet is Fergie from Black eyed peas. She is lip synching her new song with lots of hotties dancing around her.
After the song the intro to Sway with Ludicris. A few years back Luda shutdown the main street with a whole song and dance routine. Oh God John Norris is back again but he is with Shakira. She is in a black dress and representing Columbia. John Norris is really killing the interview. Wow this interview became boring and long. And now to Kurt the Load Loder. I hate him more than John Norris. He is interviewing some freak band and their gimmick is having a live monkey. They are not doing even anything remotely funny with the monkey. Ask someone to touch it. And how old is Loder?? 78?
Back from commercial live to with John Norris and T.I.. TI is just having fun or so he says. Bad interview. Next to Wyclef John and now they are with the nerdy guy Gideon on top of a building waiting for chemical romance to play. A person in the crowd when asked said it was the best place to be in the world..In the world..Wow. A boring interview with 30 seconds to mars.
I am back. I had to go take care of a few bombs that were planted by one of my staff that blew up around 7:15..Anyway I am back and Chemical romance who are a puppet band are up on top of the GE building singing a song. MTV spends so much time and money getting people in the air..One year you are going to see a 142 year old Madonna on the moon performing an opening number. Sad part about this band is that they think they are Queen or the who and they are doing a rock opera..Not sure what the message is though. Maybe its just "We suck"??This band is almost as bad as the Ramones... And that whole song was brought to you by Chevy.
Back out to the awards with Paris. She is such a great interview..She said nothing and posed. Now to Beyonce.. Always looks good. Has a hard time talking most of the time but who cares. Back with the Load. With the killers asking some mundane questions. Quick say nothing do nothing vid. John with Christina. She is dressed as an old woman again from the 40's. She is really getting boring. Back to sway and his big rasta hat and hair.
This show is really starting to lack creativity. Like they have Jackass there but they are not allowed to really do anything. Ditty is there and now has a spokesman who is speaking for him. They just promoted their next album. Now Sucha with Fergie.. She mase her first album change and now she is walking in with Snoop. Not much said. Sway backstage showing all the equipment in the back room. It looks as if you could push Loder over with a stick. Why do they trot this guy out.
And now the 2006 VMA Opening..Its on the roof again with Jay Zee.. Now to Justin Timberlake doing some dance moves and a new song. Does like a intro and then shouts out and is joined by someone who looks like a preacher...Not sure who he is. Might be Big Boi..Nice but not too great. ..They cut to Jlo in the audience and she has an old lady doo rag on her head and she has dressed herself 5o years older. Now to Jack Black who is our host for the night

He is backstage and in walks Justin in a towel. ..Jack Black on stage and he is in a space suit which catches on fire...But I missed everything else since someone stopped by with no notice. Back to Jack on stage and I do not see where this is going. He introduced Montel Williams...and now into the Rocanour with Lou Reed. They sang a song well not really sang kind of moaned and barked. They did this for all of 30 seconds. Now he is introducing lil Kim who comes out in an orange suit and with two would be cops who take off the suit to reveal another outfit and she came out to say thanks for thinking me while I was in jail.
